These very elegant earrings by Bottega Veneta are the kind of design that is easy to pass by if you just see it on a web page. But the photo of the earring being worn tells a different story entirely.

The shape is larger and bolder than at first glance and yet delicate at the same time. It is very much a statement piece, but with the pink enamelling, quite a soft one. Though I wish Bottega Veneta had chosen a somewhat bolder accent colour, as the pink seems to fade into the background somewhat. I do wonder what this would look like had they chosen a primary colour or even a metallic.
