Jewel of the day: Elizabeth Knight Hydra ring

Part of the collection dubbed “Heroine” this Hydra ring by Elizabeth Knight certainly is an effective visual for the ancient serpent in Greek mythology. Plus, it’s just plain cool.

Jeweller Elizabeth Thompson named her line after her grandmothers and gets inspiration from the idea of discovering relics. Her collections are intriguing and you can buy from her directly online.

The Hydra ring sells for USD $120 and is gold-plated base metal.

  1. This is indeed a special piece . Of course impossible to wear . It’s multiple snake heads are reminiscent of the Hydra ( cut off one 3 will spring up in its place) however it’s also reminiscent of fertility . This ring while lovely , to me costs too much for plating. Rings are the ONLY area I say this !! My opinion plated rings should be well under the $100 mark . I turn them green 😦 great collector item , I’d shadow frame it . Cheers !
