Well, this is about as statement as a necklace can get without veering into the territory of body jewellery (a whole ‘nother thing).

Named the Samurai Capsule necklace, this very intriguing piece by Halaby is made of brass chains, Swarovski milled rhinestone chain and Swarovski stones. Available on LuisaViaRoma for Can $2055, I would love to have seen a photo of this worn with clothes, just to have a better understanding of what it would pair with (other than a stark black, white or even perhaps gold outfit).

Regardless, I love the exuberance in this piece. The line is made by Gilbert Halaby, based in Rome and claiming the Orient for his inspiration. There are several other complementary pieces in this collection (and for Goth lovers, Halaby does some cool things with bats as well.)
