Rose gold is definitely having a fashion moment. Canadian jeweller Birks has made it part of the new Muse collection, which features a mesh design that looks Moroccan in inspiration.

Given the price of gold these days, this is a good value: an 18 inch 18k rose gold chain with two pendants, one a flat disc that Birks recommends be engraved with a special message for the wearer (but of course, it can be left plain), covered with a round disk in what they call the Muse mesh motif. It retails for Cdn $995. The Muse collection is also available in other metals, with or without diamonds, and in other designs.
