A few years ago, Bottega Veneta decided against putting any of its seasonal jewellery pieces on sale. I believe some of these items make it to their outlet stores, but as I am not located near any of them, tough to say (and they won’t ship outside the US, alas).  The bad news: if you are waiting for markdowns on their pricey things, you are likely out of luck. The good news: if you missed out on a piece from a few seasons back, it’s likely it can still be found. At full price.

This is from their current collection and a variation on this necklace is the star ad campaign piece. The unusual sterling silver chain holds a pendant with silver, freshwater pearls and at the center, a large piece of rock crystal. It sells for USD$1,920 on the Bottega Veneta web site, and there are other matching pieces in the collection.
