These earrings, in the form of barbed wire, could easily be mistaken for artful bows. Unlike barbed wire, they are more likely to draw interested observers than to repel them. They sell for USD $8,000 at Bergdorf Goodman; made of 18k white gold set with 1.15 cttw white diamonds, for pierced ears.

I actually didn’t know this particular pair of earrings, but I agree with you: Stephen Webster has the gift of adding a Gothic touch to classical jewellery making it even more sophisticated.
