Visual artist James Jean has turned his attention to jewelry, with stunning results. He currently offers five very different collections: Drip, Butterfly, Bone, Strata and Bat. Jean is a favourite of designer Miuccia Prada and it’s easy to see his influence in these pieces.

This collar from the Butterfly series is epoxy resin on brass; it is a limited edition of 10. There are companion pieces, including a bangle and earrings (not to be worn at the same time, in my opinion!). This sells for USD $3200.
