Actress Keira Knightly wears precious jewels by Chanel when she plays the lead in the upcoming movie adaptation of Tolstoy’s Anna Karenina.  They are deliberately not of the period (which I think is actually a shame, considering the kind of visual overload jof ewels worn by Russian aristocrats of the time), but they are certainly striking. Here, she wears the house’s signature camellia, rendered in diamonds, naturally. Makes the fabric pins look so … less than. The film’s release date is November 16, 2012.
