Under its Atelier umbrella, Swarovski works with jewellers and designers to create limited edition pieces. These often also feature stones or colour especially created for the designer.

For 2012, Swarovski is working with Philip Crangi, Zaldy, Christopher Kane and Eric Daman (with only Crangi being a designer who works primarily in jewellery). Of all the pieces I recently saw, this pyramidal bracelet by Zaldy was the one I was most captivated by. The shape has a gritty edge smoothed out by the glitter of the rhinestones. As much as I loved it, I couldn’t get past the Cdn $575 price.
