My beloved diamond and sapphire ring is currently in the hospital (aka the jewellers) awaiting a verdict on whether its too fragile for daily wear (sob) mounting can be salvaged. So I’ve been trolling websites looking for pretty vintage and antique semi-mounts in the event the worst happens. I came across these pretty diamond and sapphire earrings, 1 ct of diamonds and .28 ct of channel set sapphires from Chicago jeweller Diamond Zone. Lots of pretty eye candy on the site; these sell for a very reasonable USD $695.
