The lush exuberance of this brooch is really appealing; interesting that it is set in titanium. I’ve noticed a trend lately towards the use of alternatives to gold and platinum, including palladium and aluminum. (Interesting factoid about titanium: it was named for the Greek mythological Titans and has the strongest strength to weight ratio of any metal).
