There are some very pretty designs in Paloma Picasso’s new Venezia collection for Tiffany, inspired by design elements in the Italian city. Tiffany describes this blue enamel, diamond and 18k gold pendant as “patterned after the gold eight-pronged stars featured on the backdrop to the famous lion sculptures gracing the Basilica San Marco in Venice.” Actually, I associate this kind of design and enamel with French pieces from the turn of the 20th century…

Surprisingly, the diamond weight is shown as only .08 so I am guessing the pendant itself is quite diminutive. Available for USD $1950; comes with an 18 inch gold chain.
