I was hoping that Christies had a preview of the jewels that will be up for auction in December, even a teaser, but no such luck. However, they did have this charming photo of Elizabeth Taylor wearing the emerald and diamond drop earrings, part of a suite made by Bulgari, gifted to her by Richard Burton.  You don’t need to see these in colour to see how spectacular they are, and how perfect the marriage between Bulgari and Taylor was.
