Diane von Furstenberg has had a storied career, almost Zelig-like. She was at the heart of the 1970s jet set scene, became famous for her wrap dress, saw her company rise, fall and rise again. Today, she is a well-respected designer (and  head of the Council of Fashion Designers of America since 2006) who has branched out well beyond the sexy little dress that launched her.
