A few years back, Lanvin popularized fabric tie closures on necklaces, which overtook jewellery at all price points and for which I’m not yet sure I’ve yet forgiven them. It seems like a lazy way to finish a piece to me, is troublesome and fiddly and if you have long hair, leaves a lump under it where the bow or knot of the closure is.

So I haven’t been a tremendous Lanvin jewellery fan (what, me carry a grudge??) but I like this sinuous metal leaf cuff set off by Swarovski rhinestones. Available for CDN $877 at LuisaViaRoma.
