Hermes has formally launched a 14 piece high end jewellery collection (although they have long carried gold and diamond pieces). Hermes prices are generally staggering and these are no exception. The whip necklace pictured below (courtesy of Women’s Wear Daily) will run you 650,000 euros. But it does come with an alligator case in which to store your bauble.

Pieces will be available on a custom order basis, as Hermes travels the world to tempt customers. The designs can also be adapted to your individual taste, and will take five to seven months to produce. The prototype pieces will also be on view at the Faubourg St. Honore flagship store.
