I have always admired the fine jewellery iteration of this pin. I was delighted to see a costume jewellery version available in the gift shop of the Dali Museum in Tampa/St. Pete’s, Florida. There is something subversive and chic and edgy in both versions of this design. It’s the fairy godmother of the Rolling Stones’ logo and the infamous opening sequence of Rocky Horror Picture Show. And I am sure that Dali would have loved that some people classify this pin as “fake”….
